Three Mobile have recently announced the release of the ZTE MF10 Dongle Adaptor. Known as the WiFi Hub, the new device will convert a USB mobile broadband standard aor premium dongle to a WiFi hostpot. Similar to the 3MifI mobile WiFi hotspot already offered by Three, the WiFi hub will allow you to share your 3G mobile broadband connection over WiFi at home, office, boat, caravan, mobile home, hotel or where ever you want.
The ZTE MF10 adaptor allows the USB Dongle’s mobile internet connection to the shared over WiFi. You can connect up to 5 WiFi enabled devices at once, such as laptops, tablets, phones, ipods, games consoles, kindles, netbooks etc.
There is an extra bonus – the dongle adaptor has a handy ethernet socket at the back, allowing you to use the WiFi hub as a router and connect wired connections too.
The WiFi Hub will work with all USB mobile broadband dongles (see below for a full list of compatible USB devices), especially Three’s new Premium USB Dongle which offers HSPA+ 40% faster browsing. Three’s HSPA+ speeds are planned to reach 21.1Mbps as standard with upgrades to their high-speed 3G network by the end of 2011..
